Frequently Asked Questions

What animals do you pet sit?

We pet sit dogs, cats, small mammals, and exotics. We do this by visiting the owners home multiple times per day to ensure the pet is exercised, fed, has fresh water and company throughout the day, we do in home visits as it can be stressful to the animal if they are outside of their territory and home environment.

What is pet sitting and why would I choose it over catteries or kennels?

There is nothing more comforting for your pet when you’re on holiday or working long days, than to be in their own familiar surroundings. We make this possible by coming to your home, take care of your pet, keep them company, to play and exercise. Our service offers you the peace of mind that somebody is keeping an eye on your house and most importantly keeping your pet safe and happy.

When I contact you what happens, do I get to meet you?

After you contact us for our services, will arrange and appointment to come and meet you and your pet in your home. This is so you can get to know a little more about us and get the chance to let us know exactly what your pet’s needs are.
Everybody has their own special needs and so do pets.
This appointment is free.

How will I know my pet is safe and well?

When you’re away enjoying your holiday or out at work, I take photos and videos of your pet.  I will then send them to you via email. I also like to leave a short note updating you on the wellbeing and activities of the day. Hopefully this will reassure your mind that your pet is being looked after.

How many times a day do you call?

We offer 2 sessions with pet sitting, you can choose between 1 visit or 2.

What about my keys?

I will arrange to collect your key’s, or you can keep them in a key safe on your own property, if they are in my position they are kept in a locked safe when not in use. At the end of the client’s pet sitting service, I hand them back personally. I also offer to hold keys for my clients who are regular customers.

My Pet takes medicine?

If your pet takes medicine, this will be discussed our first interview and there is no problem in me administering your pet’s tablets as to your requirements
